Do you want to know how to pick a good menu for a winter wedding?  We will tell you here.

Steps to follow:

  1. You don’t have to renounce to the cocktail before the banquet, even if it’s winter you can choose to do the celebration cocktail on a closed area inside the venue, in a conditioned tent with heating system for example. In this part of the celebration, offer hot appetizers like hot creams and a wide variety of cold meats: cheese, ham, etc, as well as dishes made right in the place, the cooking show is an option. Another great option can be quail eggs with bacon, this modality is very attractive for the guests but you will have to make sure that the food is recently made.
  2. For the main appetizers, you can choose creams, there are many of them: from a traditional seafood cream, to a traditional soup from the place the wedding is being celebrated at. If you choose to do the seafood option you can do a seafood zarzuela, which contains norway lobsters, prawn, lobster, crab and brown crab.
  3. The main dish will have more calories than a dish in a wedding set on summer of course, in that time of the year digestion is easier, so you can have the chance to choose more elaborated dishes. A good lamb or birds are really good choices for this time of the year.
  4. The side dishes can also be more elaborated and caloric. You can opt for apple compote with castaña liquor. Also baked potatoes with a traditional baked fish could be a good option too. Seize the season so your dishes can have produces like castaña or common figs, and avoid at all cost summer-like salads.
  5. For the dessert you can choose a winter menu by choosing a key element: melted chocolate. You can choose for a traditional tart or you can mix it with ice cream, but if you put a little melted chocolate on it, your guests will thank you.
  6. And for pairing this entire delicious menu, try local wines. Is the best option to entertain your guests. A good white wine not excessively sweet that is very common in winter and a good red wine that combines with your main dish. About the wine that you will mix with the dessert Pedro Ximenez is always a winning bet. With all this tips we gave you, will you choose winter to celebrate your wedding?
